Welcome to the Country Life & Heritage web ring enrollment site! This ring was created for the purpose of keeping alive and sharing those skills and crafts that made country living not only special, but a necessity for most rural people who couldn't afford to buy what they needed when they needed to have it. Enrollment in this web ring is absolutely free and encouraged to anyone who has a site that concerns any of the old country skills or crafts.

This ring is now hosted by Rings @ anvilfire.net!

Examples of what you may come across while visiting this ring are farming, ranching, trades such as blacksmithing, horse shoeing, grain milling, who knows what your going to find. How about quilting, tatting, crocheting, needle works of all types, canning and food preservation, soap and candle making or cheese making. The topics can be endless!

All the ring asks is that your site(s) follow this basic theme so that visitors won't be dissapointed and leave our ring because they accessed three or four sites in a row about hampsters or rock music. It should also be noted that pages that include pornography, racism, foul launguage or anything illegal don't belong on this ring and will not be considered for addition. There are plenty of other rings that might accomodate you and you are politely invited to try them instead.

Joining our web ring is fairly simple. Below you will find a link to the standard enrollment form, just fill it out with your information and hit "submit" at the bottom of the form.

It will then be sent to what is called a "que" which is simply a holding area where it waits till I have reviewed your site and made sure you have inserted the web ring navigation bar into your web page. After I have visited and see that your page follows our theme and that your web ring navigation bar is in place and working, I will include your site in the web ring for all the rest of the world to see and access!

Here's where you request admission to the ring......

Here is where you actually sign up at, just fill it in, click on submit and you will be sent a confirmation message in your email with your site ID and stuff. PLEASE be sure to print or save that email because it has all your information on it and links to where you can change and update your site listing.

After submitting your site you can pick up your code on the ring "admin" page. Below is a sample of what the code looks like.

JOIN!

Like I said, once you press submit, your entry will be held in the "Que" ( Holding area) until your site has been reviewed and accepted into the ring. Please make sure you insert the web ring banner code into your site within 24 hours or so. If you have problems with the html code feel free to email me and I will do what I can to assist you.

Below you will find a sample the code you insert into your page. The code in ring admin will already have your siteID, email and name inserted into the code.
