Template Ring Home Page
This is a sample ring home page with the minimum tools for a Ringlink web ring hosted on Rings @ anvilfire.com.

Doing a search and replace for WEB RING TITLE and YOUR_RING_ID will go a long way toward setting up this page. Replacing those two phrases will make everything on this page work including customizing the the sample code below. Currently we have a test ring using those terms so that this form can be demonstrated as-is.

This page includes many of the items most often left off pages; HTML TITLE, Description and key word meta tags.

To complete setting up this page all you need to do is write your ring description and replace the email and personal home page address at the bottom of this page (and delete this block).

Edit the rules, adding or removing from the samples below as you wish. The minimum requirement for member sites is that they carry the ring code with Prev, List and Next Counter

To join, follow the instructions below.

NOTE: Create a site ID. If you already use one on another ring it may be the same.

Your site ID may be letter or numbers.

Keep it simple. Use no spaces or punctuation.

Keep it clean as it is visible to the public.

If the ID is taken you will be prompted to select another.
  Click here, fill in the form and submit.

You will soon receive a confirmation e-mail containing your registration information and your code fragment.

The code fragment is a just a few lines of HTML that connects you to the ring.

Copy this code into the bottom of your webpage.

Drop me a line when the code is installed and I will add you to the ring!!   It is that easy!

I will then review your site to see that the code is installed and that your site is suitable for our ring. Your site will then be added to the ring.

Use the above button if you misplace your code or need to edit your site information. Current members that need to pick up code can also do so here. You will need to know your site ID#. If you are already a member of the ring, go to the ring list page, put your cursor on your site and look in your browser status line. Your ID will follow siteid=.

The code in site administration will be customized for your site and ready to paste in as-is. The sample code below is generic code and must be edited to use on your site. Do not use the sample code unless you are experianced in editing HTML and understand how the webring code works.

This ring requires you to have the following minimum in your code:

Ring Title, Prev, Next, List

Remember to place the Webring code on your page.  We cannot add your page without the code.   Acceptance into a specific webring is not automatic.   However, we will accept all that fit the description or provide tools and supplies to the industry.   I hope all get plenty of traffic from their submission to this ring.
